A good mentor is a must! They have been down the road already and can guide you, warn you of the pitfalls, and teach you what you will need to know for success. This is definitely the MOST IMPORTANT FIRST STEP when you choose your business and start your internet marketing career. A good choice of mentor will also save you a TON of time and money that you will otherwise needlessly spend in all probability. Find one that your partnership with will benefit him/her financially too, that adds to the incentive for the person to be a great mentor. Thanks Phil for the great advice and video.

Getting the right mentor is probably one, if not THE most important thing a person can do when they are first getting started in any new undertaking. A good mentor has “been there, done that” and can help you avoid the pitfalls and stay on the speedy path to success. It’s also advantageous for your relationship with your mentor also benefits that person in some way, usually financially.
