This is the third in a series of three posts on becoming an empowered entrepreneur. The first post focused on connecting with the inner power and strength that is within us all, and changing the limiting beliefs that we are programmed with from childhood which prevent a solid connection and sabotage our lives. The second post addressed finding your passion and your life’s focus. Today I want to talk about assuming the mindset of a leader and developing a lifetime habit of learning and knowledge building, particularly improving marketing skills.
Another important and critical element of becoming an empowered entrepreneur is your mindset. An empowered entrepreneur must learn to assume the mindset of a true leader. You must become a leader in all aspects and all relationships of your life if you are going to be an empowered entrepreneur. Most of us start as followers. As we study and learn and observe empowered leaders we grow into aspiring leaders. We assume more responsibility and self-reliance. Finally as our knowledge grows and our connection to our inner power increases we step forward as leaders in our own right. It is all mindset and it is real. You cannot fake it. Empowered Entrepreneurs are leaders, not fakers. Spend 10 minutes with an empowered entrepreneur and you’ll sense the leadership.
But don’t mistake domination and coercion of others as leadership. It isn’t. It is how the weak attempt to lead. Empowered entrepreneurs never dominate or coerce any follower. They empower their followers with knowledge and encouragement. They are teachers who care about others and want to help them grow and succeed like themselves. Therefore leaders offer value to followers, which is why they attract followers. Leadership, offering value and attracting people to your energy is a sign of a true empowered entrepreneur.
Skill building and expertise are absolutely a necessity to survive in this industry. Empowered entrepreneurs have an absolute hunger for knowledge. At an empowered entrepreneur’s house, you can always spot the entrepreneur because he or she is the one sitting with the family reading while they watch TV. Every empowered entrepreneur has a library full of books, training courses, CD’s and DVD’s.
One area of particular acumen is the area of marketing and sales. If you want to be an empowered entrepreneur you will be developing your sales and marketing skills immensely. That is because as an empowered entrepreneur you will be marketing yourself, your skill, knowledge and the value you bring to others. This will be the core of your appeal and your success. Be ready to become a master marketer my friends if you are to become an empowered entrepreneur.

Today I want to talk about finding your passion and your life’s focus.
Let me ask you a question. What is driving you to read this today? Why, why are you seeking entrepreneurship or seeking to grow as an entrepreneur? Now think about your answer because it really matters. People who are empowered aren’t motivated by money, although empowered entrepreneurs easily become wealthy as a means to accomplish their goals. Theirs is more than a motivation, more than a drive. They are passionate about something they want for themselves and for others. This is what drives empowered entrepreneurs to accomplish more than others are willing to even attempt. This passion, this reason why, is another of the secrets of becoming an empowered entrepreneur.
If your reason for reading is just to earn extra money for a bigger house or a new car, you should consider getting a second job or consulting on the side. You simply won’t have the passion to push forward and to keep pushing forward the way empowered entrepreneurs push to achieve the tremendous success they have in life and from life. But if you’re driven to understand yourself, who you are, why you’re here and how you can make a difference in this world, well this is an entirely different thing. It is time for you to connect to your inner power and find your passion in life so you can spend your energy in the highest pursuits of human life and helping others to achieve the same thing.
Another characteristic of an empowered entrepreneur is the intensity of the focus they have on achieving their goals and living their life and passion. Everything they do moves them toward their goals. With every step they evaluate, redirect and improve. This intensity sets them apart from others you meet. When you speak with them you KNOW what they are about, what they want to do. You can sense it.
This intense focus comes from a deep connection with their inner power and strength. It is a critical element of their ability to manifest success, wealth and happiness in all aspects of their lives. Are you focused on your passion? Are you living your passion in such intensity that it permeates everything you do? Empowered entrepreneurs do. It makes their lives more salient, more interesting, more fun, and it makes them wealthy.
So are you ready to begin the journey into empowerment as an entrepreneur? Are you ready to find your passion in life? Are you willing to change your life and pursue your passion with an intense focus? Only the strongest survive and thrive in this industry. I want you to be a success. I want you to connect with their inner power and become passionate about life.

Do you want to build unlimited wealth for yourself and others and change the world to be a better place in the process? That’s what empowered entrepreneurs want to do and that’s exactly what they do every day. Today I’m going to tell you two of the biggest secrets to becoming an empowered entrepreneur, having unlimited wealth and freedom, time for family and your passions, and the power to help and change the world. These secrets are simple, so simple people tend to ignore them and forget them. Only the MOST successful people know them and practice them daily.
One of my favorite authors is Marc Allen, who wrote The Greatest Secret of All. He said, “We are far greater than we think we are. Our potential is vast. Most of us have just barely begun to realize who we are and what we are capable of.” You see my friends, empowerment starts with the knowledge of the infinite power within each of us, within you and within me. Magical things can happen when you follow the infinite power within you. For empowered entrepreneurs it seems that people, situations and events seem to come into their paths when they are needed. They are able to manifest success increasingly more easily and faster than before.
We are born connected to that source of power, but as we grow as children most of us are conditioned to believe that we are separate, limited and weak. This knowledge is the first secret of empowered entrepreneurs. As our beliefs are changed we lose our constant connection to our inner power and function from this limited belief system we were taught. Our lives are therefore shaped and formed by these limited beliefs, emotions and insecurities.
What about you? What are your beliefs? Are they keeping you from connecting with your inner power? You need to do some introspection. You must identify any beliefs you hold and evaluate them. Take charge and control your life. Change any beliefs which do not give you strength and take you toward your goals. The book I just mentioned presents the finest exercise I’ve encountered to help you do just that. It’s called “The Core Belief Process” and I’ll be writing and speaking more about that soon.
Empowered entrepreneurs see challenges as opportunities. They see the greater potential of learning the new. They never pause for fear and never stop for self-doubt. Can you do this? Empowered entrepreneurs face challenges which require them to learn new skills, overcome fears, and figure out new systems. Unless you’ve taken control and changed your limited belief system, they could severely limit your success when these challenges arise. Changing limited beliefs is a big step toward connecting with your inner power and becoming an empowered entrepreneur.
So are you ready to begin the journey into empowerment as an entrepreneur? Are you ready to live in the NOW and connect to your inner power and strength? Are you willing to question and even change your beliefs? This is a tough industry. Only the strongest survive and thrive. Only leaders make money in this industry. I want you to be a success.
